I started with book 1 and was glad. It helped refreshed my memory on what happened in season 1, plus there's a lot of dream sequences in it that aren't in the show that explain a lotttttt/provide insight into a lot of potential theories and future events in the books.

I get a good laugh at those in the nonreader thread that say they are going to read up to where the show ended. There is no way anyone could stop reading 60% of the way through Storm of Swords.

About to watch tonight's season finale. Family was in town and we had a big dinner out. Now it's time for Game of Thrones Bitch.

It was literally like the hour was great and the last 10 minutes were a whole lot of MEH.

How many books do you have to read to be in the book readers club? Are all of yall done with the ones that have been written?

I wouldn't venture into the Crackpot thread or the reader episode threads without having read all of the books. We pretty well cover them all.

The book reader thread has spoilers from all books.

Well shite. I'll just have to breeze through all of them.

I would be confused on which thread to post in next year if I finish like Book 1 and 2 and be considered a reader.

I thought they could/should have introduced atleast one of the new characters, or shown what the Frey's did with the other corpse.

Is it fair game for this to be discussed in here? I had already known what would happen to Robb's body after accidental to venturing to the wrong wiki page.

I'd say no given the future implications and we agreed we'd keep it within the scope of what's been seen on the show.

She didn't. He asked if that was her first man that she killed. She replied yes it was her first man. As in her first kill was a boy, not a man.

I thought it was all pretty good sans the Dany part. Set up things for next season and had some parts that were definitely foreshadowing of things to pass.

Quick question for the book readers. Where exactly did this season end in the books? Midway through the 3rd?
