Yep and The Goonies has this song....

Cyndi Lauper----Good Enough

You can't hear that song and NOT think of The Goonies.

Dammit...I'm gonna have to watch the Goonies tonight...is it on netflix instant?

Goonies. The re-watchability is a 9.5

Tough. I think I would give the edge to Sandlot.

Awesome erector set? Monster dog? Hell yes.

Sandlot is a better movie if you're not just waxing nostalgic.

Sandlot is a good movie. Granted I just saw it the first time ever less than a year ago.

But it ain't no Goonies. Goonies represents everything that was awesome about being a kid growing up in the 80s imo.

Besides Muppsey...you are gonna be biased to Sandlot, cause that is what you grew up on

I saw The Goonies and The Sandlot around the same time as a kid, and I thought the former was idiotic.

Deal with it, nurse!

But you didn't grow up in the 80s Muppet...you werent' even a thought in the 80s hun.

Just saying those of us that grew up in the 80s LOVED this movie for the most part. Things were just much different movie wise in the 80s vs 90s. I guess people were just much more easily entertained.

Cosmo, I think we need everyone to post their age after casting their vote.

I'm curious to see if my predictions were true.

The Beast isn't just "some dog".

I saw both movies around the same time when I was a kid. Even as a kid I thought the Goonies was ludicrous. Great movie, but just wayyy "out there".

Even though I was a kid and had a wild imagination, it seemed like the Sandlot was something more likely to happen to me than pirate ships and bad guys. Guess that's why it had more of an impact on me.
