Started watching on HBOMax. Centers around the Cammora, which is the mafia in Naples, Italy. The series is shot on location in Italy/Europe and is in Italian. I personally like foreign stuff and can watch with subtitles, but there’s an English dub version as well but I think the dubbed version is unwatchable.
Easily the darkest, most violent series I’ve ever seen with very entertaining plot twists and turns. The show has some of the most disturbing and gut wrenching scenes I’ve ever seen.
Every main character is pure evil and murderous. After a while the show takes quite a toll on you mentally but I found myself addicted.
Highly recommend if you like hardcore crime/mafia related stuff and can adapt to subtitles.
This show holds nothing back.

Yeah I’ve been planning on getting into this once I noticed the series was in hbo Max. I still need to finish Suburra: blood on rome on Netflix before I start it though.

I can't watch dubbed movies anymore because they seriously detract from the performance of the actors. The subtitles are always on at my house.

I saw this thread and began watching it. Knocked out 3 episodes last night. I'm enjoying it very much.

Best foreign series i've ever seen. Simply brilliant in every way. Now i have to figure out where i was to start again. It used to be a bitch to find.

Some very uncomfortable scenes of violence against women and children, but I wouldn’t say most violent thing I’ve ever seen.

The first two seasons were way better I thought.

The kids one is the one thing that REALLY gets to me in watching shows. Entire army of dudes can get wiped out in the most horrific way and no big deal. One little kid caught in some violence and I’m wrecked

Thought of this at first, the biggest turtle of all. I'll have to check out the series.
