Not which movie is better, but who would win in a fight.
The 2014 Godzilla vs a team of Xmen.
Maybe Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Beast, Iceman, Colossus, and Prof X vs Godzilla.
I say Zilla in a rout.

Godzilla should win easy. I don't know how those Xmen would hurt him. I guess magneto could take him though by ramming steel beams through his head or something

I honestly don't know how Storm is ever defeated. How can you beat weather? She can throw as many Hurricanes and Tornadoes and Hail Storms and Lightning strikes as it takes.

Nightcrawler would have the best shot. All of those listed would be almost useless, but at least Nightcrawler would have the advantage of teleportation, so Godzilla would never be able to hone in on him.

Cyclops alone could slice him in half with his eye ray. If it can carve up a nuclear reactor, it can slice Godzilla just as easily.

Godzilla eats nuclear reactors. Don't see that laser penetrating his hide.

If you've read the comics and seen the various animates series, that Ray is pretty devastating.
And Magneto could easily choke him with a bridge or something. Sinister is another one who could pretty easily frick Godzilla up.

Hard to say...I think the XMen could take him down though if there are a group of them fighting him.

You mean the sentinels? Those things are like 10' tall. 2014 Godzilla is around 300'+
