The man is a living legend. Cant say he's made a whole lot of bad movies. Sure there are a few stinkers(pink cadillac) but he gets a pass

Any list that doesn’t include Every Which Way But Loose is a shite list.

Trouble with the Curve. No other Eastwood film matters.

Unforgiven
Outlaw Josey Wales
White Hunter, Black Heart
Letters from Iwo Jima
Sudden Impact

In movies he didn't direct:

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
For a Few Dollars More
Escape from Alcatraz
Fistful of Dollars
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot

Pale Rider
Unforgiven
For a Few Dollars More
Magnum Force
Gran Torino

TGTB&TU is overrated. FAFDM hits all of the same notes and does it in a much tighter package. Better villain and final standoff too. Van Cleef's best role.

Unforgiven and Rider over Outlaw and Drifter for me but you can't go wrong with any of them. Unforgiven is simply masterful though. His best work. Rider a close #2.

Magnum Force is the best of the Dirty Harry films.

Gran Torino because Walt is such a rich character.

If we're talking most enjoyable and not necessarily best:

Kelly's Heroes

This scene / quote always makes me smile, cuz you could see how he was chapping the Hunchback's arse:

"I generally smoke just after I eat. Why don't you come back in about ten minutes?"

Thank you. I think an ever better thread would have been, "What is the most underrated C.E. movie?" This would have been my nomination.

I love Unforgiven but to me it's a Gene Hackman movie with Clint Eastwood.

Yep. Also, Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can, love those movies.
