He acted the way i expected. He completely lost it after seeing hannah. Which is probably why he fricked the new girl the way he did.

There's some stuff I've read about last week talking about Adam and Hannah being each other's "triggers." Hannah for her counting, and Adam feeling the need to return to AA. That was definitely forwarded this week with Adam going to the sauce as soon as he saw her.

After really enjoying last week, I really disliked this week.

ULTIMATELY, this is just a path to have him be all like "omg i mesh with that crazy fat bitch hannah"

which is extremely predictable.

I feel like that will be the only loose end that gets tied up in the season finale.

Pretty much - one weirdo made for another.

I can actually deal with Adams weirdness because it didn't just pop up out of nowhere. Hannah's OCD fits have been completely out of left field.

Actually I meant to post this yesterday but forgot. Every Sunday HBO runs the previous 4-5 episodes of Girls in the afternoon prior to airing the new episode. As we know, last week's episode was Hannah's OCD meltdown, which seemed from nowhere. But the episode 2-3 weeks before that, with Ray and Adam's outing to Staten Island, Hannah has a minor OCD fit at the kitchen table in her apartment when she's working on the e-book. It was very subtle, and I missed it the first time. But on rewatch I obviously picked it after seeing last week's OCD outburst. Just figured it was worth mentioning given the "left field" discussion of her OCD.

I thought Marnie's kanye west's cover wasn't bad at all. This was one of the better episodes all season. I knew Adam couldn't hide his true weirdness from that chick. He almost seemed weird acting normal. Hannah is really starting to piss me off. She looks like her puss has an unbearable stinch.

I think Adam was intentionally trying to push Nat away because of the run-in with Hannah. He's got major self-esteem issues underneath the surface and was just intentionally self destructing to give himself a reason to go back to Hannah.

I need to rewatch that episode because i never noticed her minor fit while working on her book.

Marnie just can't leave Charlie alone and let him do his own thing. Which shouldn't be surprising since marnie's life has very little direction during this season. It was predictable that they would hook up. But, I'm hoping they don't end up dating.

Yea dunham could've prepared for the ocd thing better, but it's pretty clear it's been triggered by the anxiety associated with her book.

As I originally said, it seemd pretty clear it was a pity screw. Charlie tends to be kinda spineless, though, so the question is whether he owns it for what it was or if he allows himself to get sucked back into that disgusting situation. I'm hoping he doesn't get back together with her.

did you watch the preview for the season finale? In one of the screenshots you can hear marnie say "I can't believe we are FWB's now" [i'm paraphrasing a bit]

Nah, I didn't. If Charlie can pull that off, good for him. Marnie's hot

No way he can pull it off. FWB relationships are always a time bomb. I know, I know, take it to the OT

I was really pissed off at the end of the episode seeing Charlie going back to her bullshite. But seeing that in the preview made it satisfying to see that he was just using her for FWB. That guy has everything going for him right now and Marnie is a damn train wreck. Her wooing him back in was more about her "gaining control" again (at least of charlie anyway).

I also wondered as OCD as Hannah was in the whole balance thing, why didn't she drag her fat arse all over the floor to get a splinter in the other side? She was about to jab a Q-Tip down her other ear to balance. If you are going to show crazy self deprecation might as well go all the way.

See I just saw it as the proverbial show on the other foot. Charlie is the one with control now. While annoying, that hookup was just a pity fock. Like "hey, she may be a trainwreck, but she's still hot and I can do anything I'd like to her at this point"!

I'm so relieved next week is the season finale. Why do I watch a show that makes me feel miserable? lol
