I believe the daily wire has already released a movie. Very low scores from critics, but I imagine that’s to be expected

What exactly would a conservative movie studio or streaming service look like ?

Not sure. But I bet their Star Wars movies wouldn't be piles of shite.

One reviewer gave it a negative score admitted it wasn’t all that bad, but still gave it a negative score because of who made it.

I can only imagine Han giving a speech to his son about the Corellian Man's Burden and his relationship with Chewbacca.

Ben still stabs him in the heart after.

Shapiro represents manly culture in the same way that Rupaul does. He's a religious cuckold that wants so desperately to be "cool". It's a telling sign that red-blooded alpha males on this site flock to his effeminate banner of orthodoxy.

Shapiro may not be masculine in the way that guys like Arnold and Sly are, but he is a very knowledgeable man who has enough sense to know that throwing on bolt ons and a wig doesn’t change your gender.

Poor guy was cursed with an awful voice.

Many American country music listeners supported the war, and Maines's remark triggered a backlash in the United States.[42] The Dixie Chicks were blacklisted by thousands of country radio stations,[43] and the band members received death threats.[44] Maines issued an apology, saying her remark had been disrespectful; in 2006 she rescinded the apology, saying she felt Bush deserved no respect.[43] The backlash damaged sales of their music and sales of their next album and tour.[45]
Country music fans disliked the remarks.

Station blacklists were individual decisions by owners.

Unless you have evidence to the contrary?

quote:

ame year, the American Red Cross refused a $1 million promotional partnership from the Dixie Chicks.[47] The organization did not publicize the refusal; it was revealed by the Chicks themselves in a May 2006 interview on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio.[48] According to National Red Cross spokesperson Julie Thurmond Whitmer, the band would have made the donation "only if the American Red Cross would embrace the band's [2003] summer tour".[49] Whitmer further said: The Dixie Chicks controversy made it impossible for the American Red Cross to associate itself with the band because such association would have violated two of the founding principles of the organization: impartiality and neutrality ... Should the Dixie Chicks like to make an unconditional financial donation to the American Red Cross, we will gladly accept it.[49]
They refused to ACCEPT money from the Chicks.

Yeah. . .

This sounds like it's going to be as terrible as those Kirk Cameron made-for-no-one movies.

I mean, “Run, Hide, Fight” was actually a pretty intense movie and hard R rated. It’s simply put Die Hard set in a school. I’m willing to bet more of their films are going to be more libertarian in spirit than religious.

Run Hide Fight wasn’t the greatest movie I’ve ever seen but it was pretty good and definitely better than the RT critics would have you believe. As you said, it’s intense and there’s a lot of blood. The acting, particularly from the film’s lead, is pretty solid. Daily Wire did okay for their first outing as a production company.

Run Hide Fight
Just looked it up

Rotten ratings are all about "people releasing it are despicable"

Odd shite, to be sure

I guess I’m not brushed up on my Dixie chicks history, how is it different?

Seriously? Were the Dixie Chicks dropped from their label and management? Or
were they rewarded with weeks of national talk show appearances, and another album that charted their highest rated singles ever?

They lost some of their base audience so album sales and radio requests dropped off, but that should have been expected after they went to another country and said they were embarrassed to be from a certain rather large state that gave them the bulk of their sales and radio requests.

I'm sure you can see the difference, whether you admit it or not.

Why would I have evidence to the contrary? It proved my point

If you haven’t figured out yet, I have no problem with those stations making those decisions

I have no idea, but if they were you wouldn’t be white knighting for their honor

Idk man, you seem to be the Dixie chicks expert I’ll defer to you

So again, exactly the same thing Carano has felt. She made a decision and there was a reaction to that decision

The only difference is which one you agree with

Yeah, I’d give it 3 out of 4 stars. Solid, not excellent, but a good start. It’s a film where you think to yourself “Shocked they hadn’t made a film on this concept yet. Seems like a no-brainer.”

That's some pretty hip message board smack right there.

Was it because you were insinuating they were cancelled, and when challenged you concede the point. Seems dishonest at best, but hey. . .live your bliss.

I understand why Carano was fired, but can still acknowledge that there is a tremendous double standard that disadvantages one group for purely partisan reasons.

But the Dixie Chicks weren't cancelled, they were boycotted

Umm... Die Hard? It's the latest Die Hard variant.
