Started watching Gilmore Girls a week ago. halfway through the 1st season and I like it. any supernatural fans know if they named sam's brother dean because of sam being dean on GG? I hope so, it makes it more funny

My wife loves Gilmore Girls and had me into it a couple of years ago. I had to explain a lot of the movie references to her. ETA: I love the Supernatural episode that they go to the movie studio. The tour driver goes "Up next, the set of Gilmore Girls" or something like that and Sam's like "We gotta go".

Wouldnt surprise me. Someof the GG characters are named after cast and crew.

While I agree with this, the character itself annoyed the crap out of me sometimes.
The aftermath of the scene when drunk Logan ran off Jess was just so cringeworthy:

Just completed the series. Clearly a huge drop off in the quality of writing for season 7 when Palladino and her husband weren't running things. However, I wish they could have had one more half season to really wrap things up. Oh well. Maybe we'll get a Girlmore Girls movie fund going on kickstarter.
