If you rank characters in the prequels and sequels, Jar Jar is somewhere in the middle to lower middle

Rose Tico is "Ewok Movie" level of awful

And she was paired with Finn, who SHOULD HAVE BEEN a top 10 character. . .but for the fact he got swept into the background, presumedly to appease China

I decided to give Episode I a rewatch when it came back to theaters and it was just so damn boring. Maul was probably the only really interesting thing about. Jar Jar was well Jar Jar and I couldn't care less for Pod Racing.

That might have been too similar to when Obi Wan chose Luke. I doubt updates would have approved Luke starting late knowing what happened to anakin

Wonder if they’ll ever bring him back for one more movie or a TV show or something
