Game of Thrones Season 5 - Episode 8 :"Hardhome" Readers Thread (Spoilers)

These HBO synopses are always so oddly written. “Jon travels.” Who does HBO think it’s fooling? We all know there’s going to be some kind of conflict at Hardhome in “Hardhome,” so why not write “Jon fights” or “Jon does battle?” Then again, maybe people who don’t spend all their time thinking about these things won’t be bothered.
In any case, the network doesn’t really tip its hand in the teaser.

Think the battle of Winterfell will be next season
Hardhome is replacing the battle at the fist of first men from or atleast that's how I've interpreted it

I'm all for the network not tipping it's hand. It could say, "Jon Snow still knows nothing" for all I care.

Yeah I don't want an episode synopsis in the info
They do enough of that shite with the 29 minute "previously on" segments that tell you exactly what's going to happen in the episode and ruins any suprise appearances by characters
Can't wait to see the season 1 clips of Benjen stark in the previews for next episode if the rumors are true

Is episode 9 going to be the Hardhome battle? EP 9 is usually the best one, this one should just set that up huh?

He's in the IMDB cast for episode 9 I believe

I think it'll be in mostly this episode, but it might carry over into the episode 9

There were rumors that he would be killed in 9 and revived in 10, but I don't think that's the case. They are going to watch the meltdown for the next year
Problem is that it opens them up to spoiling his ending (or new beginning) by a damn casting page. If he is recast for next year then it's obvious he'll be revived and if not, then GRRM is a cocksucker for killing off Jon snow

Crazy that we have just 3 episodes left. So tomorrow is "Hardhome", then we have "The Dance of Dragons", and the finale is "Mother's Mercy". It'll be interesting to see how they're going to space things out and if they'll leave us with a Jon Snow cliffhanger since that's usually not their style.

Yeah they are. I just looked at 8,9,10 and they don't have Benjen in there anymore.
8 has the Night's King, WW, and some Wights though
