You think book Cat would have killed Jon?

She sure as shite would have never wanted him legitimized.

Absolutely amazing episode. Some of the stories didn't progress as much as I thought, but wow I loved it.

Was he in this episode? I got the impression that those were just his henchmen.

Am I really the only one who got this instantly? The Bastard is the guy who said he was sent by Theon's father and will release him. He'll do that next episode and then hunt him down like a dog.

In case some of the people in this thread haven't been in the illiterates thread, Carson is alive.

She didn't. Which is why he wasn't. I don't see any deviation. Its a good person who has insecurities and the episode shows her insecurities win over her good nature in the end.

Could be, but he always sent others to play his tricks on Reek in the book. Never himself. Plus the character, if Ramsay, is in no way shape or form what I imagined he'd look like.

They are taking some serious liberties with the characters from the books. Im ok with it so far, but if they keep just creating new stories for people, they are gonna have a revolt on their hands.

That scene with Cat was total BS. Should have never been allowed to happen.

Im ok with how they brought the Reeds around. How they handled Ramsay is meh so far. Well see how they go with it. They need to show his true form quick.

Joff/Margery scene was great. I cant wait for that little shite to get what he deserves.

It's been forever since I read the book...wasn't Jaime supposed to lose his hand right there?

You forget about his first and greatest trick on Theon then. He very directly did that trick, when he personally posed as another person, and manipulated him into doing simply horrifying deeds.

I was fine with it for the most part, since I think even with a young child that she despised, if she saw him in suffering she would probably want him spared. Cat isn't a monster. They should have never added the bit about legitimizing him though.

Isn't that the point? He is being deceitful to Theon and by extension the audience.
