Thought the NK was snapping Arya’s neck.
RIP NK, you deserved better.

Cersei built the dragon gun which will 100% kill Drogon

Care to elaborate? Can't quite remember the details on that

So pretty much all the main characters in the frontlines survived?
And the main characters in the crypts?
How id fat sam alive after laying under a pile of dead soldiers?
Garbage.

The assassin that came to kill Bran when he was in bed recovering from his fall has the VS dagger. Cut Catelyn’s hands with it when she grabbed it.

You have no idea if the spinoffs are or are not prequels.

WTF are you talking about? The Night King tore down and breached the wall. the 700 foot wall that has been standing for thousands of years. He wiped out all living people north of Winterfell. He killed a dragon.

Can't believe people liked that episode. 15 minutes unnecessary intro where nothing happened and no one said anything, 40 minutes of blurry battle where nothing happened, 10 minutes of Night King slow walk before a lazy, forgettable death, then credits.

You’re so cool and edgy

I LAUGHED
I LAUGHED WHEN THE NIGHT KING DIED
Also, Bran is useless

Only issue I have is that the Night King wouldn’t go out like that. He would be much more aware and wouldn’t let his guard down like that.
I also lost much respect for our fearless leader after he didn’t 1v1 Jon and resurrected the dead instead.
We will rebuild.

Yep. I wanted Jon to end it but I was good with this. Arya was the only other option and I loved how they made it happen. NK was over confident, Arya used skill and not power.
Excuse me for being retarded but did she take the face of one of the white walkers? I'd assume so since she came out of nowhere

The tactics were so poor I was ok with the dead winning. The two scenes in the dark (Arya prancing around) were just silly. I don't have an issue with the NK dying the way he did - I actually feared a formulaic ending. I hope we get more exposition on the NK in time.
Going forward, Bronn is definitely killing one of Jamie or Tyrion. The entire story is a function of Jamie and Cersei, so I'm going to assume they die in some fashion together. Bronn remaining true to being a sellsword and ending Tyrion is the proper way for him to go.

Still Knights of the Vale left at Runestone with Lord Robin Arryn (who will likely sit on the Iron Throne)
I assume we see the Second Sons ferry over
Looks like they are at The Twins next episode at some point though the Freys are worthless and don’t have much left
What few Iron Borne are left at the Iron Islands
Two dragons

I'd like to hear your idiot explanation. I've read all of the posts in this thread and NONE of them can justify either how, or why, Arya was the one to kill the NK or why he went out like that.

Gorghan of Old Ghis once wrote that a prophecy is like a treacherous woman. She takes your member in her mouth, and you moan with the pleasure of it and think, how sweet, how fine, how good this is... and then her teeth snap shut and your moans turn to screams. That is the nature of prophecy, said Gorghan. Prophecy will bite your prick off every time

You've read the books. You should have realized that GRRM loves to upend tropes. Then you have the adaption to TV that necessarily needs to change things (i.e. Lady Stoneheart, etc.).
That's how and why.

quote:Back in season one, after Bran had been knocked out of the tower, someone, we presume Littlefinger, but in retrospect, I don't know why, sent an assassin to kill Bran and he had that dagger. The assassin is killed by Bran's wolf and it's revealed that the dagger was Littlefinger's.
Care to elaborate? Can't quite remember the details on that
He lied and said it was Tyrion's. Or maybe that was true. Either way. That's what he meant. However...
As I think back on the assassin, the idea at the time was we were lead to believe the Lannister's sent him to make sure Bran stays dead. But I guess Littlefinger couldn't have known that Bran didn't fall, so was just sending the assassin anyway to further cause war with the Starks and Lannisters.
It's just a happy coincidence that Bran HAD been pushed. But it's really convenient.
