If there could be a franchise crossover of Bronn and Han Solo hanging out, would be one of the greatest stories ever.
Bronn & Han's Excellent Adventures..

GRRM is no stranger to this technique

Stolen from Reddit, but as someone who loves HRC, this made me giggle like a loon:

Everyone:Sansa should be the queen of winterfell.
Arya:WHAT ABOUT HER EMAILS?!?!

Not only that, he's fricking awful about it. He's great at world building. He has done a poor job of winding things down and letting certain plotlines and characters go.

You think maybe it has something to do with the fact GRRM has 5 or 6 years to craft, refine, and polish every word in his book while D&D have to put out a full season every year? If they could write as well as GRRM and still also produce 7 to 10 episodes all in a 12 month period without any suffering of quality it sure wouldn't say much for GRRM.
And even then, his last two books are a major dip in quality from the first three.

Agree the best part about the episode seemed to be the conversations between Hound and Tormund. Also appreciated the scene with Jon and Jorah regarding Longclaw. The rest of the trip north seemed as only a plot device to hand over a dragon.
Arya is a boss and I truly feel she is just priming Sansa to kill LF. Questions her loyalty, gives her the dagger and scares the crap out of her.

Anyone else really like the Beric Dondarrion character? I think that actor does a great job and has an amazing voice.

IMO Beric and Thoros have been better characters on the show than in the books.

Fire only kills the wights. We've seen several times the NK walk through fire unharmed. We also saw a White Walker walk through fire at Hardhome.
It kind of looks like the fire dissipates as they walk through like they have so much cold around them they extinguish it.

Agreed and that's saying something, because I really enjoy their characters in the books, as well.
I was sorry to see Thoros go out, but I guess it was necessary. It probably only means that Beric is going to die (one more time) in some heroic way - saving someone in the process.

part the issue with them going so fast is that important shite gets glossed over
Jon meets the only other guy still around that's been brought back by red magic...and that convo they had seemed like it should have been momentous
why are we still alive? Why were we brought back?
good stuff
plus beric correctly deduced the NK as the key to all of this

I'm sure this has been brought up multiple times about the timeline, but my gripe is it's easily avoidable. If dany was going to save them anyway, why didn't she just fly them up to Eastwatch in the first place and wait there with her dragons? Just fly all of them up, along with Tyrion, then wait there. What changed for her that now she is so intent on flying north?

Because she loves Jon thus deus ex machina.

She didn't love Jon before this episode? I mean the only way they made it out alive was going to be the dragons. Everyone had to know that before going. Stupid plan anyway but damn that's a huge plot hole

As someone replied before; I think it was in the battle of bastards episode when he found Bran and Meera he told them the children saved him from turning but he couldnt go past the wall.

Eh I've been telling my friend there was going to be a zombie dragon for multiple seasons. It isn't some crazy out of the box theory. There was no way to know he would be an olympic javelin thrower but the endgame was the same.
