Well I think the obvious path to sail to somewhere in Essos is to sail around Dorne. Afaik, there is no northern route around Westeros. That seems like something someone would have mentioned if people were sailing around the north end of the continent.
I think Asshai is on the exact opposite end of the world as Westeros is, but the Lands of Always Winter connect to the Shadow Lands. I don't think the Others were only a Westerosi phenomena. Sure Westeros by far got struck the hardest, but I think the Others went as far North as they could go and then went south. It explains the prophesies in Asha and the Five Forts.

I will be upset if anyone but Jaime kills Cersei. Granted the show has failed to build it up to where I might let it pass here, but the books this has to happen.

In the last episode Lancel couldn't wait to go off on Jaime. He was staring at him the whole time with his bat.
Jaime just glanced at him.
Jaime just glanced at him.

Just watched Alt Shift X's video recap and he points out bran sees the wild fire being poured. And in season 3 the reason Jaime gives for killing the mad king is because he wanted to burn kings landing. Well Bran also sees the wild fire exploding...It's still placed around KL it was never taken out.

Tap the brakes there book nerd, we're not supposed to speculate based on what we've read.

Actually that's the entire fricking point of the book reader thread

Other than that, I don't think she could do anything to Jaime that would make him want to kill her. fricking Lancel ("and Moon Boy, for all we know!") doesn't really cut it.

That wasn't "bait", just poking fun at someone who was sensitive earlier about making predictions based on books.

Didn't even have a hook...even.
That one was impressive.

That among other things is why I think Jaime will kill her in the books. I think she'll rig King's Landing to blow like Aerys did and she will poison Tommen. I think she'll poison him on the Iron Throne, and the second Tommen dies is when Jaime will walk in, tell her why he actually killed Aerys (who I think he's only revealed to Brienne), say that he made a deal for Tommen to be Lord of Casterly Rock instead of killed, and then strangle the life out of her. I want Cersei's thoughts at her death to at least be as sad as Catelyn's. I really think this is foreshadowing of both Cersei and Tommen's inevitable fate: LINK
While I feel pretty confident in that theory in the books, I'm not sure on the show. I just think Sandor Clegane taking down Cersei is lame. It needs to be a Young Queen (which I think is a self fulfilling prophesy, since by the time of her death she'll have Margeary, Sansa, Arianne, and Dany as potential candidates that drives her even crazier) and Jaime. Tyrion is much too obvious, and anyone else is simply a disappointment. I do think Sandor will kill Gregor for good, but I'm not sure if it will be Cersei's trial.

He was sensitive about making predictions from the stuff shown in the trailers. Much worse than the books

And to be fair to me it was Lucas...

You think Arya killing Cersei would be a disappointment? I would love that, especially since Cersei is on Arya's list.
But with that said, I also think it'll be Jamie. But it wouldn't hurt my feelings for Arya to do it.

Yes, because I think Cersei would simply die pissed off if Arya did the deed. I want all passion snuffed out of her by the end. As I said, I want her thoughts to be as sad and dark as Cat's when she dies. Jaime killing her right after she pointlessly murders her own son I think would do it.

I would also point out the prophecied connected to R'hollor, a predominantly Essos religion, indicate that the WW also affect Essos in some way.

The books are headed in that direction but the show hasn't shown that story line at all.

Didn't Maggie mention the valonqar in the show?
