We obviously won't be getting Varys being a child killing blackfyre loyalist, the GNC, or a trial by combat/Clegane bowl for Cers

Oh my good man, we WILL have Cleganebowl...Maybe not in a trial by combat.

Will Varys still Kevan in the show? Is Kevan an important enough character in the show for that to have an impact? Seems like Tommen and HS are calling the shots compared to Kevan

Did the Waif remind anyone else of T-1000 in those scenes?

I think this episode shows that the writers are really struggling without having the book source material.

A teenage girl gets stabbed multiple times in the gut (one twisted), falls into a canal, and gets stitched up. She sleeps for a day or two (who knows how long), then runs and breaks her stitches and limps to her cave.

Then she gets up and struts out of the House of Black and White like nothing happened. It's awful writing.

She definitely had the old T-1000 motion.

Maybe the time travel stuff isn't just backwards. Gonna take an army from the future to defeat the old ice men from the past.

I am not sure how I feel about the Arya storyline. I liked Jaquen at the end, but I'm not sure how much it makes sense overall.

Hound got some sweet moments. Riverrun was really good, though I wish we got the Blackfish swimming away at the end.

Cersei is gonna burn KL to the motherfricking ground.

Aerys's hidden gallons of wildfire all over KL...gotta be.

ETA: ..Or just under Sept of Baelor...I can dig it.

Hopefully, but I very seriously doubt it happens this season. I have a feeling that what Qyburn & Cersei was talking about as the "rumor" is the wild fire that Bran saw in his vision. I think she'll burn King's Landing to the ground, or at least the Red Keep and the Sept of Baelor. So I guess the Night's King could take control of the Mountain, and the Hound has to fight him one on one in the upcoming seasons. But that seems kind of goofy if Clegane Bowl lays out like that.

Not going to lie, I still had a teeny tiny bit of hope for LSH. That small part of me died when I saw Beric

I mean no we won't. The key component of Cleganebowl was trial by combat. Even if they fight one another, if it isn't trial by combat then there is no cleganebowl.

At least by definition.

The show nuked the trial by combat last week when it showed that Sandor wasn't a man of the faith
