This and the fact that the mastermind Littlefinger was attempting to stall the wedding, so that presumably he could finagle his way out of it.

I don't see her lasting very long either, though something will need to happen, so that LF can take control of the Eyrie (legitimately).

Interesting point that no one has mentioned yet, the Lannisters are definitely in debt to the Iron Bank of Braavos. I know it was implied previously, but now we know for sure. Also, in the scenes from next episode Stannis is in Braavos attempting to secure a loan, which I'm guessing they may consider, due to his enemy owing the bank so much money.

fricking awesome episode. Littlefinger being the mastermind. Bran honing his warging powers and taking control of Hodor! And Jon slicing and dicing

Was it just me, or is the Iron Bank of Braavos sort of an allusion to the Temple of Jerusalem with the money changers, especially the way that Tywin was describing it? Who is going to be Jesus and tear down the Temple?

Can Bran only warg Hodor because he's mentally slow? He's the only human that Bran has warged, right?

Is he supposed to be mentally slow, or just a huge bitch? I can't figure it out.

I like that we finally got Tywin admitting that they are basically in debt up to their eyeballs to the IBoB. They could be up shite creek if Dany ever makes it to Bravos and makes her case as to why they should back her.

This was an awesome episode. Sad there was no Tyrion or Jamie but I get it. I'm so ready for the trial next week.

I though Locke may stab poor Hodor in the face while he was getting strangulated.

This. I was fricking terrified. The fact that Hodor hulked himself out of the chains and killed Locke without any trouble was the most surprising thing about the episode, other than learning the Lannisters didn't kill Jon Arryn. I feel like I should go back and watch season 1 again after knowing that.

Littlefinger basically started everything that's happened in Westeros since the series begain. Chaos is a ladder becomes even more relevant.

Littlefinger seems to be behind everything. If so, this is a masterful plan trying to take the throne for himself. What's more, no one's the wiser.

Looking back, he pretty much told Ned. He is playing chess whilst everyone else is still playing checkers.

He's the smartest character on the show by far.

Is the tree that Bran is trying to find the same kind of tree that is in Winterfell? The vision in the hut showing the tree behind Bran made me notice how similar they are.

I think it's the same type of tree. Perhaps they are all connected somehow.

That's what I'm thinking. The trees could be connected and Bran will go back to Winterfell.
