But you don't think Tywin has done enough awful shite in the show to warrant Tyrion killing him? They talked on the show much earlier about Tysha so it exists in that realm, Tyrion obviously figures out that Tywin put Shae up to her betrayal, and then there's the countless lesser ways he's shite all over him (including sending him into battle multiple times on the front line).
There's plenty there for Tyrion to lose his shite over to that point IMO.

The writers didn't think the hodors would remember the Tysha story from season 1.
So went with things everyone would get.

I mean there is, but I just don't think that killing his father would be the first thing on his mind when his brother just saved him from certain death. It would be if said brother reveals to him that the worst thing that ever happened to him was built on a lie.

Is it possible that 24 filming got in the way? The counter argument to myself is who would kick GoT aside right now?
From what I can gather 24 started filming in late January and just finished filming earlier this month. So I guess it's possible. When did GOT film?

There will be no patchface, there will be no butterbumps, there will be no COLDHANDS, and now there will be no LADY STONEHEART.

This is why I hate Hodors. They JUST told you where she's going and he posts this.

If she's heading north then that means she might get close to Jon. And every time she gets close to family somebody dies

IMO finding Shae in Tywin's bed works just as well as that plot device.

frick D&D they completely shite the bed. I don't care how good the episode was, I'm pissed they didn't end with LSH. frick them.

I just don't see how it would take longer than a day or two to film that scene. Hell, LOST back in the day would go to where the actors that had busy schedules were in order to film them when they were unavailable. Surely they could have done that.

Yes, once he's there it is, but why is he there in the first place?

I loved the Brienne/Hound fight... Thought it was a nice addition to her rich storyline from the books.
Same here. Maisie was great that scene, as was Rory

And will you still be saying that if they lead with her next season?

It was pretty fricking obvious he was there to kill his father. He even said you knew I didn't do it and you sentenced me to die anyway.

Because he's been an utter POS towards him all his life? And played with his mortality by allowing the trial to go the way it did?
Why is that so hard to get?

The books are far from perfect so when the show changes up some things I don't mind it. Like the Tyrion/Tywin scene was fine with me. I always thought that Tyrion flipping his shite at Jaime and Tywin just because of Tysha was a stretch to me.
Jaime just put his arse on the line to save Tyrion and Tyrions gonna go be a dick to him because of some crap that happened to him when he was 16. It just always bothered me. I don't mind the Tysha omission. And if Tyrion and Tysha were to have some kind of reunion in the books at some point, they could easily still put that into the show no problem.
And I thought that showing Tywin shitting in the toilet after he was shot would have taken away from the drama of Tyrion killing him. It just wouldn't translate on screen well.
I love the Hound/Brienne fight. And I love that Brienne got to have a conversation with Arya like that since the characters are so similar. I, for one, hated Brienne's story. It was so ridiculously boring, they had to do something to spice it up for television so I thought that was a great addition.
The only thing I was dissappointed with like everyone else was that they didn't end with Lady Stoneheart. That was such a WTF moment at the end of ASoS and to not to leave that cliffhanger for the end of the season is such a downer. Michelle Fairley must've had conflicting schedules or something. I can't think of any reason they would leave that scene out.

No Lady Stoneheart pretty much ruined the end of the episode for me. Oh well.
