welcome to our world. The David's will fix all of the shittyiness into something that's more palatable for the Hodors. This season proves that. Heck. Why wait for GRRM to get off his fat arse and write when the show will just unfrick everything he's fricked up with the story?

Well the show got the idea and the storyline from the books. Dany makes the same decisions in the books. That's where D&D got the plot from. And in those books she is an immature 14-17 girl

This attitude is so unbelievably disrespectful to a guy that literally imagined an entire world. First ) I argue that while the TV show has been able to smooth some timelines over, they have also made some stories convoluted for no particularly good reason. Second) Why wait? Well, last I checked neither one of the David's have ever really come up with any story completely on their own. Why do you think they would be good at it?

They have diverted from the original story several times and it worked out pretty well. They know the end game because they have discussed it at length with GRRM, and TBH with you I think he is has written off on the idea of the show surpassing the books 100%. GRRM has shown time and time again that he really doesn't GAF about finishing this series, not in a timely manner at least. So he's excepted a life of living it the phuck up while we sit here and type defending or accusing him.
