I think it's held up well over time. It was the 90s.

And the episode where Will and Carlton strip for money to buy back their aunt/mom's jewelry is still one of the funniest single episodes from any TV series I have ever seen

The bigger question is what became of Marcus Stokes and his kid

He was ruled ineligible after someone realized that it's kinda odd to have a six year old kid at the age of 17.

This is a show that does not stand up well over time. Nearly as bad as Saved by the Bell. Dated, cheezy, and not funny.

I enjoy watching it and its still funny to me. The first few episodes may look stupid but the later seasons have held up just fine

You're crazy, this was the best sitcom of the 90s

Here is an awesome video of Will doing the Fresh Prince theme on The Graham Norton Show.

Can you imagine how fricking terrible it would be to ride in a cab from Philly to Bel Air???

And with a smelly arse cabby at that??

Uncle Phil shoulda paid up to get that youngsta a plane ticket. If anything would hurt his political career it would be having a nephew run away on a cross country trip cause he was to cheap to fly him out.

Zeke should know better than that.

Didn't he watch Over the Top

Very racist show, it helps the theory of
can take the ____ out the ghetto but cant take the ghetto out of the _____. Look at the way Carlton and Will acted total different backgrounds.

I doubt that will got into one fight.

why would you think any different? He wasn't a fighter on the show. shite, most dudes like him that move from the hood of West Philly to a mostly white school would be starting fights every day with those rich, preppy kids.

Clearly he was being bullied in Philly because he is the lover/player type, not a gangster. He needed a drastic life change, or else he would have ended up another innocent statistic.

First thing he did was teach Ashley how to act in a fight.

Mind ya bidness, that's all...just mind ya bidness.

Also gets in a fight with the dude hitting on Lisa at the bowling alley, which is easily one of the funniest things ever on the show.

Hilarious.

"A what...a power ranger?"

"You were on the floor.."
"THAT'S HOW I FIGHT!"
