I found this when I was searching for old Jack Nicholson movies to consider for his top 3 roles (other thread).
I know about a lot of old famous movies (but not nearly as well as some here), but I've never heard of this one. How famous is it? Anyone here seen it?
It won a ton of awards and was preserved by the National Archive. I'm probably going to Netflix it now.

His best performance imo

from the amount of love it got (in awards at least), I was surprised to not see anyone mention it in the other thread.

really underwhelmed with this movie. remember almost falling asleep during it. tho that mightve been after a long run, a long bong ripping session, or after a long frick party, making me tired and inattentive.
