Nice to see they have him in an outfit that takes from both the classic and current look.
Hopefully they go with the wide eyed heart of gold that deserves his power version of Billy over the New 52 emo dickhead everyone sucks Baston.

Not a fan of the hood, but frick it. That's the Big Red Cheese in a shopping mall at Christmas. I hope Santa shows up.
BTW:
Levi said they had an official photo ready to be released in the case of someone stealing a shitty candid shot. Hopefully this means we see the full costume tout suite.

I like the hood. I really like what Geoff Johns has done with that box of characters. Hopefully they use that iteration.

I’m not huge into superhero movies so I may be missing something nuanced about the character....but that kinda looks like something I could get from Halloween headquarters for 59.99.

Billy Batson
Created by Fawcett as an answer to (DC's) Superman. Best selling superhero character of the 1940's.
DC sued, the superhero craze faded, Fawcett got out of the comic book business.
DC began publishing the character again starting in 1972.
Eventually changed the character name to Shazam to avoid confusion with:
Captain Marvel II, III, IV, etc...
Marvel Comics has had a Captain Marvel character since 1967. Too many versions to get into, but the Carol Danvers version is what you'll see in the Marvel movies.
