I will say the trailer looks good. I like a good dialogue and acting movie. Wish this was just the case of him leaving his family and trying to reconnect without that other premise.
It’s a really good movie, and he has to be gay for it to make sense. I enjoyed it so much, I started a short-lived thread about it (probably too soon bc doesn’t seem like anyone on this board has seen it yet.)
I’ll be honest, I didn’t realize BF was gay in the movie until I got there. Let’s just say I’m glad I didn’t know that beforehand bc it is so good.
I’m calling it now- this movie is going to produce some great internet memes… and BF will/should win the Oscar, for those who still consider The Academy to be a credible selection committee.

I'm struggling to come up with a premise for a movie that would be worse than this
Gotcha-

Emilia Perez- the film follows a Mexican cartel leader (Karla Sofía Gascón) who enlists a lawyer (Zoe Saldaña) to help her disappear so that she may transition into a woman.

You dug up a 3 year old thread to answer a question from 3 years ago with a reference to a movie that wasn’t made for another 2-3 years after the original post?
