I hate the small ears more than anything. But then, the Arkham game series really as altered my thinking of what Bats should look like.

Which is a terrible way to start a potential franchise/team.

Why? Superman has strength covered already.

exactly my thoughts as well. Same with Wonder Woman. how boring is a team of pure strength? he will be the mastermind moving the pieces into place. Thats pretty much his role in most JLA stories anyway.

A new Batman franchise? I agree

A Justice League franchise? Might be a good idea.

I'm not saying a younger, agile Batman wouldn't be the best version to go with but I can see an older, wiser, Batman working very well in a Justice League film.

Batman isn't about strength, but he should still be a dynamic hand to hand fighter.

Because Batman can only get older, more broken down and more useless. There's no rise in power.

Don't get me wrong I actually like the Affleck casting, honestly. But to go with the older take on Batman? Just not smart.

I see nothing wrong with that image. If we were looking at this in 1987 we'd all be pissing ourselves with glee.

Best Batman outfit we've seen so far (with the exception of the Batman: Dead End fan film).

Why? Even at his age he is still a great fighter. When Batman gets taken out of his universe and placed in a universe where superpowers exists, the only way to make the story work is to magnify his intellect and gadgets to superhuman levels. I know you don't like it, but that's the way Batman has always been portrayed in the Justice League.

ETA: IMO Batman is best in and belongs in a universe without superpowers. I still enjoy the JL, but you have to make some sacrifices.

Big Nolan version fan.

I have no problems with this.

ETA:

Blow [link=(this )]https://photos.imageevent.com/batmanonfilm/bofimages/batfleck-big.jpg[/link] up to 400% and you'll see the texture/detail of the suit. Not veins.

and honestly, Bats would be insane to not try to make what would normally be seen as overpowered weapons after seeing Zod mash a huge chunk of downtown Metropolis.

if Tony Stark can have shite that can knock down Loki, Thor, and Hulk I don't see why Bruce Wayne can't make small ordinance that would at least cause Supes to have to brace for impact.

I just checked out the high res pick and the shade and texture of the body of the suit compared to the gloves, cape and mask lead me to believe that we're getting black and grey this time.

There's a difference between going with Batman at his peak (which would make sense) and on his decline.

I mean, I guess we honestly don't know what they're doing, so there's that.

Yeh, no clue. Synder and the whole crew have kept quiet. BOF seems to think the events of MOS pulled Batman back into action. Prior to MOS, he had been using drones and Nightwing (who is rumored to make an appearance) as primary tools of enforcement.

They're taking way too much from The Dark Knight Returns.

For me, this just doesn't sound good. I'd rather peak Batman. BUT....

If they bring in Nightwing, that makes me more than happy.

hmm

you can almost kinda sorta use the Nolan trilogy as the set up for Bats leaving and JGL taking over as Nightwing...

Too bad they also killed Bruce Wayne.
