I couldn't stand Joey's character until my wife introduced me to the two seasons of his spinoff, earlier this year on Kodi.

HIMYM will hold up better right now, since it's more recent. Overall Friends is a better show.
I think HIMYM seasons 1-3 are really good tv.

Just never watch the finale of HIMYM, it ruins the show.
