Interstellar is easily the most overrated movie of the 21st century.

Meh. Sinners and One Battle After Another are just 2 from last year, far, far more overrated.

My complaint is that Nolan DGAF about his own dialogue, to the point he tries to bury it in the mix. Otherwise, that's a great, great film, and it seems like a snub it didn't compete for more awards.

This is it. I watched edge of tomorrow recently and have seen it a few times. Like the movie, not the best ever, but is good sci fi film. It's also an hour less runtime than that slog.

Come the frick on . I enjoyed edge of tomorrow, but trying to put it and Interstellar head to head is like Ruth's Chris vs McDonald's.

That’s a bit harsh.

I’d compare a middle of the road Netflix movie (Grey Man, War Machine, Tomorrows War) to McDonalds.

Edge of Tomorrow is a Logan’s Road House or Chilis at worst.

Anne Hathaway making it to the planet is supposed to be a huge epic revelation

Do what?

No, it wasn’t. At all, actually. There actually was t really any big “revelation” after we officially learn that Coop was Murphy’s “ghost.” Coop left at the end to go find and assist Brand, but that wasn’t some revelation at all, and simply is just what happened once Murphy told him she was surrounded by her own family and he could leave (which pissed me off honestly that they reunited for all of about 60 seconds and then she sent him on his way, but whatever).

Enjoyed it- just thought the casting was awful nearly all the way around.

I enojyed the film. All parts of it.
The film was a great reach into Scifi.
Not many Scifi films about space and time can accomplish that.

The only part I thought was cheese, was communicating with his daugter within in the tezerrac by morris code through a watch.

But. Still. Enjoyed the film.

It was a fantastic movie except I didn’t like the ending with the bookcase
