HOLEE SHITEEE that was a great show. All 6 seasons were absolutely superb.
How are you guys watching Rebels now that it’s a couple seasons in? It isn’t listed on Disney Movies Anywhere.

Clone Wars was great.
Rebels is not great. Not sure where you can stream it legally.

Rebels lost me after a couple seasons. The kid is a bitch. And it seems more "kiddie" than Clone Wars.

Clone Wars was quite a non stop adventure that was so good that made you feel like you forgot Earth existed and quite frankly it really improved the prequels a lot for me as it could soften even the biggest prequel hater there is.
If Ahsoka Tano is not taking part in a live action movie any time soon there's no justice in this world.
Oh and the storylines with Darth Maul being resurrected and Yoda going on that journey to the Sith homeworld was amazing to watch.
Mandalore a very underrated part of the show as well as its pacifist-nuetral nature was a direct contrast to the very nature of Star Wars.

Rebels is better, both of them have too much prequel spirit
But rebels is the closest thing to looking and sounding like Star Wars
Eh, I think the originals and the prequels are like two different sides of star wars.
One being a peaceful republic that's fighting against an invasion that has already infiltrated them without the republic wising up to it. You know kind of like what America is facing right now.
And the other one is a resistance fighting against a tyrannical government that's seeking to either kill them or enslave them at all costs. And this is what we will eventually be doing in the not so distant future.
What makes one point of view more Star Wars than the other?

Yoda on Moraband was awesome. My favorite story arc was Anakin on Mortis. I wish they went further with the Obi-Wan and Satine story.

Asajj Ventress was my favorite character.

Why use legitimately awesome female leads with real archs and motives and character building and depth when you can just create a random Mary Sue, ignore her entire story, and force the audience to accept it?

As much I love the character development story arcs and trust me they are quite important to fleshing out the Star Wars universe, the battle scenes whether it be out in space or planetside was just as impressive and awesome to watch.
The battle alone on Kamino with Ventress leading the separatists charge trying to get clone secrets was awesome to watch.
And let's not forget that General Grievous really shined in this series as he was actually neglected quite a bit during the actual movies.

First few episodes with Grevious were great.

How disappointing to find out that Boba Fett isn’t cool and unique because there’s a planet with a billion people exactly like him.
There was literally an entire clone army exactly like Boba Fett. Literally exactly.

The space battles in rebels has the feel of the original movies...the ones that are good and people don’t hat
I think a lot of that was seeing someone discovering the force while fighting the everyday battles of the rebellion rather than seeing the Jedi in their glory fighting a huge scale battle.
Clone Wars is straight up amazing and shows how deep of a character Anakin could have been done correctly. The kenobi movie could have the Satine story arc to it and that would make for a fantastic movie with him choosing his vows over her but not being able to let go fully of her.
Rebels is more kid oriented no doubt, but they show the battles of the war. The little things like scrapping by and fighting to get food for locals. Then you have a coming of age for most of the characters and one of the best Empire villains in Thrawn.
I will be very curious to see where Rebels goes the rest of the way out being they only have a handful of epeisodes left.

The episode recaps in the beginning remind me of starship troopers

Yeah the whole Savage Opress, Mother Talzin, Maul arc seemed very forced to me. I wasn’t a huge fan to be honest. I was cool to see Sidious come and bitchslap Opress and Maul though.
