Father of the Bride
Any father of a teenage daughter, a daughter in college, or an engaged/newly married daughter understands what I mean. I am a huge Steven Martin fan and naturally loved this film when it first debuted. Now I am a father of a 16 year old daughter. This film now gives me all kinds of feels! I swear somebody was chopping onions in my living room tonight! I can now relate so well to the pain Steve feels as his baby girl leaves home and devotes her life to someone else. I fear that day...
