To this day, I am impressed with how detailed the Turtle toys look. Very screen-accurate.

Those are too new, you need the old ones with the squishy heads.

Those are the Turtle figures based on the live-action movie, not the TV show.

And really the Turtle figures we typically associate with the cartoon aren't even based on that show. They're based more on the actual comics. That's why Shredder is shirtless, Splinter looks weird, and the Turtles don't have pupils.

Regarding those Terminator 2 figures: I remember I had to get a booster shot or something at the doctor and my mom took me to Wal-Mart to get a toy afterwards and I got that figure of Arnold with half his face blown off and the detachable arm. It was badass.

Also had all those Batman movie figures.

And holy shite Talkboy. I had one of those!

Does it have to be movies? Because I loved me some Transformers and He-Man action figures when I was little.

I came here to post those Mario Brothers figures and forgot. I loved those!!

Also, I'm not sure I knew there were Hook figures. That's cool! I had original NES Hook game.

This. I had just about every JP toy made growing up. The only other toys I had were ninja turtle toys. Anything else was shite to me.

ETA: Though I did enjoy pitting Batman and the Red Ranger in a tag team against the dinosaurs. Man, my imagination has gone to hell since I was a kid.

This was one of the best Christmas presents I ever got:

My parents put it together and had all of my dinosaurs and action figures just chilling on it when I came downstairs. Just one of many reasons why I love my parents

I was obsessed with Batman after the 1989 movie came out. My mom went to Toys-R-Us to get me a Batman action figure, but they were all sold out. The only thing they had left was Bob the Goon. Imagine how upset I got when she pulled in the driveway and I was expecting Batman and got some obscure character.

Worst. Toy. Ever.

BUT HE HAD THE POWER KICK!

Y'all wanna geek out? Next time you're in Birmingham go to "What's On 2nd?" It's an antiques store in the downtown area. They had so many old toys! I was bugging out. They had X-Men, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, G.I. Joes...hell, they even had some Wild C.A.T.S. action figures!

I wanted to buy it all.

Pretty sure my dog wound up chewing those blue pieces to hell and back, so it is quite far from being in sellable condition

But the rest is intact enough that my kids should hopefully get some enjoyment out of it one day.
