man they are just all great.
Perhaps this is the better question: can anyone name a truly bad baseball film? I'll throw out Summer Catch despite Jessica Biel's sweet sweet body.

Long Gone
I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers this one. It's the 1st thing I remember seeing William Peterson in, though Manhunter came out around the same time I believe. And Virginia Madsen was some kinda hot back then. I can still hear that Hank William song every time I think of this movie, and I don't believe I've ever heard it anywhere else.
This movie objectively sucked, but I really liked The Slugger's Wife. Granted, my fandom of the Braves likely plays into my bias here. But I also love Randy Quad in this. And Michael O'Keefe and Rebecca DeMornay are great.
But my favorite baseball is and always will be Field of Dreams.
