I love how people who haven't even seen the last one (that they made more of a heist film than a racing film) and continue to bash the franchise

I saw the first one and that's it. Is it worth catching up on the rest? Or are they all basically the same movie?
I wouldn't say you really need to "catch up" except maybe check out Fast Five before the new one. You should watch that one anyway.

The less rappers in my movies the better. Tyrese and Luda have grown on me, but I cannot take anymore of this hip hop ghetto culture any more that is running rampant through modern society.

What a terrible franchise.

people just don't understand it and bash the movie just because they've made so many of them.
why do movies all of the sudden just suck because they're part of a large franchise that's made a ton of money?

This movie sucks because it's part of a franchise that has sucked balls right out of the gate.

That will never be a problem with any of these shite movies.

My biggest guilty pleasure, they can't make em fast enough.

I don't feel guilty at all. They're awesome!

This movie will be exactly what it is expected to be. Thus the "high" reviews.
Hard pass.

I agree. Fast Five was solid.

The Fast and the Furious - 52% RT, 58 metacritic - worldwide box office - $207,283,925 - $38,000,000 budget
2 Fast 2 Furious - 36% RT, 38 metacritic - worldwide box office - $236,350,661 - budget was $76,000,000
Tokyo Drift - 35% RT, 46 metacritic - worldwide box office - $158,468,292, budget was $85,000,000
Fast and Furious - 27% RT, 45 metacritic - worldwide box office - $363,164,265, budget was $85,000,000
Fast Five - 78% RT, 67 metacritic - worldwide box office - $626,137,675, budget was $125,000,000
so the first 5 movies made $1,591,404,818 off of a total budget of $409 million. and that's just box office numbers
the fifth one, which is the one I was talking about that is completely different than the others, is nearly 80% on rotten tomatoes.
but no, lets listen to the opinion of a dumbass who hasn't even seen the movie instead of professional critics, and more importantly, box office figures.
