I'm pretty sure in the episode where Vince tells Ari he is willing to be #2 that he mentions something about both brothers being great characters.
I could be wrong.
And last night Vince didn't call him anything since Jason Patric stole his lines in both scenes.

Im so glad they dont deviate from the playbook. Something is either fricked up until the last 2 minutes of the show OR something is all good then blows up before the credits.
Its quite a riveting show.

As for Californication, I dont think I have ever seen a show jump the shark this quick into a series. Its actually astonishing.

that's not true. He called him "captain" or "sir" or something like that. Not what someone would call their brother.

I gotta disagree, I think this season's been great. To be honest, the only episode I didn't think was really good was the shrooming episode. Otherwise, I think this season's been a nice recovery from last year.
I'm also looking forward to Seth Green coming back. The Vegas episode where his and Vince's crew get into it at the strip club was one of my favorites.

So the director may be trying to create a real sense of sibling rivalry that will spill over into the acting making it seem more real.

DOM was terrible as usual. I liked the Shrum episode.

I thought the last episode with Seth Green was great...really funny. BTW...Sloan is gas.
