True, but there is sort of a protectionist racket going on. As long as you can deliver for them (socially, politically or monetarily) they won't report on it. If you get sideways or open the door in any way, the sharks smell blood in the water.

She used to have some regular on her show that used to run out, dance and bump and grind all over the white women in the audience. He'd almost finger the women on camera. His name was "Jerky" or "Twitchy" or something. It was really creepy.

She is at the stage where she knows that the show is going to go down. Which will happen. She should step back.
No matter her politics she had a great run but that run is coming to an end and she is wise to let it go.
We won't go into her evidently being fairly horrible backstage and running a production that was like being in hell.

I had a buddy in the music biz told me years ago she was a b!tch behind the scenes to the help. I thought he was just hating on her. Turns out he is right.

I think it was that her staff was mean to the guests and each other.
19 years is a good run. The best ever at that type of show (Oprah) went for “only” 25 years. She could still be doing it.
