How was S3? I watched S1 and it was one of the funnest things I had ever seen....even bought the DVD. However, S2 was flat out trash and I gave up on it after three episodes.

Meh..

Season 1 was the only one I could watch over and over. The other seasons (particularly 3 - season 2 was shite) had their moments, but aside from a few scenes involving Sudeikis, the "rewatchability" factor wasn't there. They ruined Janowski's character and went way too over the top with Ashley Schaeffer.

This is all my opinion, obviously.

seconded

Schaeffer was my favorite character besides Kenny in season 1. He was fricking stupid in season 3.

HBO canceled the show today, so this will be the last season. It'll be 8 episodes.

Me and a buddy were talking about season 4 a few months ago. The perfect thing to do for this season would be to go forward a few years in time and let Kenny coach his son's tee ball team or something. I think that would be a great watch.

But I do agree that season 1 is far superior than the other 2. It may be one of the greatest single seasons in TV history.

Inconsistent but definitely worth a watch, IMO.

Season 2 and 3 don't touch season 1, but they're still funny as shite to me.

One of my favorite lines is from season 2

quote:

“Look at the God damn sax player from Lost Boys out here trying to rub the God damn language barrier in my face.”

"You should see my fricking cookouts, man. When I was back in Seattle, I had the goddamn Spoonman from the Soundgarden videos coming to my shite. Oh, yeah. I'm talking six grills burning at all times. Tiki Torches. Three whole pigs. fricking shitloads of macaroni and cheeses. Baked potatoes. Collared greens. A horse. fricking Puerto Rican chicks showing their pussies and tits off everywhere. They were amazing."
