TDK is great.
BB is good.
TDKR is fair.

The Dark Knight overshadows TDKR because while the latter film is entertaining, it also is kinda nonsensical from a plot standpoint. So much of the movie really doesn’t hold up to any sort of consistency or logic. It’s fun, but TDK is actually a great movie.

But that's just one of the many flaws.

Broken back being fixed so simply.
Stock exchange (which is being discussed already).
Bane's neutering.
Sending every single available cop underground.

Cops emerging from underground after being trapped for 3 months, all well nourished, showered and clean shaven.

Put options work as described in the film.

Hines Ward returns kickoffs.

Prisoners never figured out an easier path of escape from the unsupervised hole prison, after decades to think about it.

Blood transfusions work as presented in this film.

Etc

Etc

Etc.

They’re all pretty overrated. But superhero/comic movies are such generic and formulaic trash that they get propped up for being decent.

It’s got great, brutal fight scenes and Anne Hathaway is smoking fine. (She’s the hottest Catwoman)

That was one of the dumbest things in any comic book movie. Let's just have this prison doctor fix his severe spinal injury like a dislocated shoulder. Now he's like brand new!

Also, after climbing out of the hole in the Middle East with absolutely nothing, how did he get back to Gotham so quickly?

The Dark Knight Rises is a mediocre film at best.

At best being the key phrase. I think calling it mediocre is complimentary.

Ledger dying screwed everything up.

I imagined if he had not died and Ledger would have return as the Joker. Instead of Daggert, you have Mr. Earle returning to take over Wayne Enterprises. He does so and that’s how Bruce loses billions. Earle hires Bane to cause all of the havoc. Bane breaks Batman and releases all of the prisoners, including Joker. Well the Joker at first likes the chaos but he does like that Bane is in control, so he finds the broken Batman and recruits him to help him restore order. Batman gets back in action, and saves the day, defeats Bane. Joker now has control of the bomb and Batmann has to stop him.
