I think the movie itself is ok, but when I first saw it I was trying to figure out what bothered me the most about the animation. Someone later mentioned online that the characters looked "dead-eyed" in most of the scenes to him. That is probably my biggest problem as well. The elves look freaky as well.

The music is good enough that I do not mind the animation.

First saw this movie at Christmas in Times Square. Had the special edition book and all that as a kid. Pretty much the only good thing about it.

It's a 2 hour boring train ride through uncanny valley.

Blue Ray is easier to watch. I suspect 4K is even better but we ain’t go no 4K tv
