I think the movie itself is ok, but when I first saw it I was trying to figure out what bothered me the most about the animation. Someone later mentioned online that the characters looked "dead-eyed" in most of the scenes to him. That is probably my biggest problem as well. The elves look freaky as well.

First saw this movie at Christmas in Times Square. Had the special edition book and all that as a kid. Pretty much the only good thing about it.
