Congrats on conquering the movie world. Lol at DC fanboys. What a pathetic studio DC is. Literally no one gives a frick about Superman or anything else they make anymore.

And they are in talks to acquire the Fox movies so Deadpool would become one of the Disney properties.
As for DC, its not the properties that people don't want to see. Its that WB has done an atrocious job with their movies. The DC TV shows might be cheesy but they are all doing well. DC animation is top notch. But when it comes to movies they've never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

everyone likes different things. While i have not ever watched star wars or any DC movies, there are plenty of people who love it and willing to pay for whatever movie Disney puts out. Cant blame disney here. Money decision... with that said, man i miss old disney movies like angels in the outfield, mighty ducks, heavyweights, etc. They had some great family movies in the 90s... wish they would work more towards that route again.

In the latest round, they seem to have completely forgotten that all the characters can't just be tough, someone needs to be likable. And interesting stories would really help.

In recent years DC has turned out one decent superhero movie in Wonder Woman, which looks like the love child of Citizen Kane and the Empire Strikes Back compared to their other offerings. Its not that difficult to come up with a good superhero movie script.
We will see how Whedon does with Batgirl (if he ever gets to make it). I don't hold Justice League against him since he was parachuted in at the last minute in a desperate attempt to salvage the film.
