i’m not saying the movie is good. i’m saying it’s dumb to criticize
movie you haven’t seen and disagree with people about what’s happening in those movies.

Ok, internet tough guy. It's bombing with Harrison Ford, I doubt they continue without him. There's not much they can really do with this franchise, IMO.

So many miserable people on this board. I started a new thread because I wanted to say something positive about the movie and we get the same drivel from people reacting to a Kathleen Kennedy quote who didn’t even see it.
It’s good. The theater was packed. People had a good time. It was a good summer action/adventure film and felt like the early Indy movies. I’m glad I went and enjoyed it. That’s the point.
A lot of these comments are really weird from people who haven’t seen it.

How would I know what’s happening in the movie? How would I know he’s not telling the truth about it? He’s even lied about the 3rd movie either because he doesn’t pay attention to what’s on the screen or he hasn’t seen the movies.

Yesterday afternoon but that’s besides the point. One side is criticizing the movie, the other isn’t defending it but attacking the people criticizing it. It’s always the same dynamic, don’t you find that strange?

Simply not true. My first post pointed out that Helena tried to kill Indy throughout the movie and that set you off so you asserted I was a hypocrite by making a false comparison with Elsa then claimed I had a problem with the actress and that’s why I made the statement which was again false.

Wow my arse. Saying she was trying to kill him at any point in the movie is a hell of a stretch. Did she act with disregard for his life as she tried to get away from him? Sure. But trying to kill him? Nah.
