I liked the first 3 and then things really went off the rails. This might surprise you but I don’t have complicated tastes. I don’t really place any importance in having fake home critic opinions when I could be invested into something actually meaningful like hurricane relief I participated in this year.

You think our homes are fake?

Classic retarded "I don't care about message boards that's why I post on them all day" response.

You're obviously invested in this discussion. It's 630am and you've been going back and forth with Lacour and I for 2 hours now.

Just think about all the orphans you could've saved in that time!

You got me. It turns out I’m easy to entertain. It’s a rare disease, truly. You NEVER hear about that one.

I’m an insomniac. Might as well argue with you about space magic on the internet and make you upset about it.

I also didn’t say I wasn’t invested into message boards. You’re reaching. Again.

What kind of porn is it? If it isn’t Asian fart porn you’re a homosexual.

I missed this Breesus. He’s not the poster this board needs, but he’s the poster we deserve.

And don’t waste your voice. He was white knighting for this movie opening night.

Doesn't that take away from the time you could be feeding the homeless?

In a movie where a person returns from the dead to have a two-way conversation with a living person, where said dead person destroys a building; where a woman magically survives a torpedo blast and the vacuum of space and returns to her ship via space levitation; where a man astrally projects himself across a galaxy to fight with a lightsaber against another man; and where two people a galaxy apart can have telepathic, full-sensory conversations with each other - the most unrealistic thing in this movie is the way in which women are portrayed as wise in war.

Wars are fought and won by men. Everyone knows it. But Hollywood must perpetuate the fantasy that women are warriors. I’m not even talking about Rey. I can actually buy that. The Force levels things out in Star Wars. I get that. I’m talking about Leia, Holdo, and Rose correcting the actions of men throughout the movie. Hell, the very first thing you see in this movie is Billie Lourd barking an order at a man.

I can count on one hand the number of women in all of human history who have actually been significant and successful in commanding troops in war.

It’s a tiring, unrealistic trope of American science fiction in particular. The constant devaluation of masculinity in our media is the real toxin in our society. The article’s writer doesn’t understand the first thing about the value and necessity of masculinity.
