Loved this movie as a kid. But I'm a little bummed there's no mention of the original ending as well as the other unseen content that allegedly exists from the test audience screening...

Such as.....? Never knew of a different ending, and I'm down to hear about other content from this movie.

For all intents and purposes, this movie is really fricking stupid. But for whatever reason I have always absolutely LOVED it.

Yeah there's an entirely different ending sealed in a vault somewhere which features the hot scientist chick surviving and redeeming herself to become the film's hero. Evidently she was the main character in the original cut but test audiences wanted to see her eaten since she was the brainchild of the operation. So the studio mandated a reshoot of the third act and also cut/altered multiple scenes involving her character. But none of this footage has ever been released.

I watched a video a while back on how the film originally ended that seemed legit (based on the screenplay). I'll try to find it.

Cautiously optimistic since it's an Arrow release
