I do believe in the least that the rumors are true that they’re bringing back Gina Carano if they’ve put Filoni in this position.

Disney would have to admit they made a mistake if they did that and they won't do that..but hopefully Gina is back

Bring her back ? Like she'd WANT to come back ?

I think they burned that bridge, to be honest. There's a great amount of butt kissing and apologizing to Gina and the fans to be performed by Disney Star Wars first.

Well, I think there’s proof that they’re TRYING to bring her back. Yeah, she’s got leverage now after their dismal fiscal quarter. She come back if she stars in that series that was rumored starring her.

Wasn't there talk of a spin off series with Cara Dune?

I don't have D+. I don't care, having never seen but a few eps of The Mandolorian.

What was the report on Jon Favreau's reaction when he heard that Gina Carano was let go?

I believe he was quite pissed. He worked with RDJ and Chris Pratt for God’s sake and is an excellent producer unlike that idiot Kennedy.

I don't doubt it, Not that it matters because I never hear anything about his politics which usually means he's probably a "closet conservative" more likely apolitical which equates to conservative nowadays for many people.

ETA: Jon Favreau is one of the best parts of Hollywood in this modern era..and RDJ and Chris Pratt are untouchable bracket at this point

First order of business: throw Episodes VIII and IX in the trash, just bring back Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, and Andy Serkis to reshoot VIII, carefully edit around the other scenes and sideline the other characters, remove Rose (the actress got to be a Disney Princess (and a good one at that) as payoff for some of the idiot racist fans that Kennedy pointed out as representing 99.9% of the fans when the inverse was true) and Holdo completely, and redo IX from scratch. It can be salvaged if you do this.

And let me know when Elvis gets here.

Forget about gina. A Rangers series w/ live-action Hera is much more intriguing.

In December, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy announced that Filoni and Favreau are executive producing several “Mandalorian” spinoffs for Disney Plus, including “The Book of Boba Fett,” which is currently shooting and premiering in December, and “Ahsoka,” starring Rosario Dawson, and based on the character Filoni created in “The Clone Wars.” (A third announced spinoff, “Rangers of the New Republic,” is not currently in active development.)

Lucasfilm has clarified that Dave has been in this position for time now and nothing is new in this regard. So, unfortunately, nothing is really changing.

This all happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, so who’s to say other story tellers didn’t get the details wrong and Filoni has a more accurate account of those historical events.

Favreau, like Filoni, doesn't talk about politics but it is pretty well known he's fairly liberal. But he is not obnoxious about it so it makes him seem conservative in Hollywood. Personally I don't care about a creator's politics until they get obnoxious about it, liberal or conservative. Evidently Fav feels the same way because he will cheerfully work with liberals, conservatives, or members of the Raving Monster Looney Party.

Here is an odd factoid... we all remember when the SEALs popped Bin Laden, but what we forget is that happened within a day or so of the White House Correspondents Dinner. To make sure Bin Laden didn't get spooked Obama stuck to his planned schedule and routine. Including... meeting with some comedy writers to go over the jokes for the Dinner. One of those writers was Jon Favreau.

There is a whole lot of vaginas in that leadership, but if I am picking one. Ms. Crumpacker is the one that is getting her wookie petted.
