Dark new Netflix Show

It's just called 'Dark.' I think it's German but the audio is dubbed in English. It's got a Twin Peaks and Fincher's Girl with a Dragon Tattoo vibe. It's about a town where children go missing and it may be connected to a nearby nuclear power plant.
The cinematography is brilliant and the show does a great job of building tension. It's also kind of like an adult version of Stranger Things.
I'm 3 episodes jn but very intrigued so far.

Just finished episode 1. It’s a little more difficult to keep up with than Narcos because I want to look at everything other than the subtitles haha. So far it’s got me in.

Started watching it a little last night. Turn off the dubbing and switch the audio to German and the subtitles to English. I don't like that the default setting was dubbing. I watched for 2 minutes before I had to switch that. It was irritating.
Anyway, I'm a few episodes in and enjoying it so far. Like the dark atmosphere. Everything is still being pieced together for me. It's doing a good job of being intelligent and not just laying everything out. I'm having fun figuring it out. I think I'll probably be unable to really say what I think of it until I see the full picture.

Finished the first season last night. Great show!

On episode 6 ...very good. Been a while since I experienced cinematography come alive like this. They have made it as important and effective as any of the characters.
Speaking of characters, watching it all come together has been enjoyable given the performances.

The whole time I’m in my head like “ok that’s his aunt, who is the brother to this guy...wait who’s the other guy...shite!”

Finished it today. What a ride! For those watching who feel confused (believe me I was too), it pretty much answers all our questions and clears things up in the last several episodes.
Also sets up very well for a rewatch! I'm gonna watch it all again soon.

Agree that it is unwatchable with the dubbing. I'm only 3 episodes in, but it's one of the more compelling shows I've seen in a while.

Turn it off and read subtitles then.
I absolutely loved this series. Great music as well. Im very anxious to see where they go moving forward.
As one poster mentioned if you finish the season lots of things will get tied in to each other but there is still lots of unanswered questions moving forward.

Oh, I did. Lasted 5 minutes with the dubbed version before switching to subtitles. Glad to hear they tie some things off instead of leaving almost everything open for interpretation.

Finally just finished watching. What the frick. fricking crazy.
Show is cool as frick, and this has shot right up to being probably my most anticipated show going forward.

Weird. It wasn't default for me.
