Just in case anyone was doubting that disney star wars is anything but a medium for radical left wing power fantasies.

Just assume everyone in media is a champagne socialist and you'll never be disappointed.

Yeah well R. Kelly wrote Remix to Ignition.
I don’t care who Tony Gilroy is politically. Andor was an amazing show and I hold it in the same regard as the Original Trilogy.

I don’t know why people forget that Disney admitted they were doing this over 6 years ago. They are making propaganda, they’re funded by the WEF, it’s not debatable.

This is the reality of it.
They live in a fantasy world.

Remember that time (two days ago) when you and sgallo3 told me Andor wasn't about Donald Trump?

Time to pile this one on the garbage heap.
I know they are all liberal, I just don’t want to hear their insane rantings 24/7.

Don’t make this into some weird me trying to prove you wrong thing. I’m not a board liberal who thinks Disney is great and loved the Acolyte. I see these same things in media as you.
What I’m saying is that no, it doesn’t say that in the tweet. It says he spent 6 years writing a story about fighting fascism. And then he talks about fascism rising today. In no way does he say that he wrote a story about Donald Trump.
Those 2 things can exist mutually exclusive to one another.
I could think that Christianity is some great evil. (I don’t. Just an example) If I wrote a story about a society ruled by evil religious zealots that was defeated by a ragtag group of rebels and had no real connotations to Christianity, would that be propaganda for some anti-Christian crusade?
Maybe. If I put in direct or even subtle nods to Christianity. I don’t see Trump in the Star Wars empire. Hell, it may be hard to believe, but I didn’t think about Donald Trump even once while watching that show.

Andor was probably the best thing that has ever come out of the star wars universe.
Gilroy knows how to tell a story

they've been calling Trump a fascist since 2015 so the timeline lines up perfectly. The actors confirmed from their conversations with Gilroy that it was "a scurrilous take on a Trumpian world". After reading that quote, it's impossible to not watch it without knowing who they wrote it about. (Nevermind the blatant admission in his speech).
They used his name to describe the world! denying that is just cognitive dissonance taking over IMO.
I still watched the show and enjoyed it well enough, even though it beats you over the head with their intentions.
If the quotes and whatnot aren't enough to convince you of their intentions in making these movies and shows, is "the force is female" enough? Is The Acolyte? Reva? Rose?
this is what Star Wars is now unfortunately. It isn't just about a property everyone used to be able to enjoy. It's a platform for them

Disney Star Wars is garbage. The Sequel Trilogy, The Acolyte, Kenobi, the second half of Book of Boba Fett. It’s a company overrun by purple-haired lesbians and weak-willed communist “men.”
We agree.
None of those statements override the fact that Andor was an amazing show that accomplished in its 2 seasons everything I’ve wanted out of a Star Wars property since I was a kid. It had great writing, great characters, great actors, great action, great atmosphere, and great themes. Literally, no notes. No criticisms.
I could enjoy that or I could worry that Tony Gilroy doesn’t like Donald Trump.

Nice of Tony to include the "kill" dog whistle for the more radical militant types of his party. Psychopath.

Well, we live in an oligarchical, croney infested, broken capitalist society that has put guardrails up against corruption only to have some bits and pieces here and there torn down, permitting career politicians to make millions of dollars while billionaires and corporations flood their pocket books and control what we vote on and for, all while being led by the dick by a guy named Bibi.
How many of you did the above make mad?

I’m just always amazed at what they claim is being taken away. Give me one example, wtf world am I living in? Am I clueless? What is being taken away?
