Katie Sackhoff is 39. Bo Katan would be pushing 60.

She was in her late 20s in Clone Wars and mid-40s in Rebels.

The Obi-Wan series is to be set 8 years after ROTS. Bo-Katan would not be pushing 60 at this point. If she were 29 at the time of The Lawless in TCW, she'd be about 37 for the Obi-Wan series.

Ewan will not be the exact age of Obi-Wan when they do they series. He will be about 49 and Obi-Wan should be about 46.

If Bo were 29/30 in The Lawless, then Obi-Wan would be about 9 years older than her. Ewan is 9 years older than Katee IRL.

(If Obi was born 57 BBY, then he'd be approx 38 at the end of The Clone Wars)

Aside from being Satine’s sister she’s too rough around the edges for Obi-Wan. Satine was perfect for Obi-Wan because of how elegant she was.

I can't see Satine as much of a "sidekick". She might could have been a female counter to Obi, but so could Bo-Katan.

I would imagine few of the characters he knew from TCW will be in the series as he really has to be hiding as Ben by the time of the show. Even if someone like Bo shows up it would likely be in passing anyway.

I liked her and her & Anakin’s almost older brother younger sister relationship. It added another dimension to his attachment issues.

Agreed. Ahsoka's arc of being set up, on the run, vindicated, and then leaving the order was better and more emotional story telling than anything in the movies.

They could make a movie about them finding Ezra. Those are maybe the two best female characters in Star Wars.

For my money, Ahsoka is the best character since the OT characters. Full stop.

I know I am completely biased as she has been such a big part of my life for almost 10 years. I cannot count the hours I have spent watching her and hearing Ashley's voice.

I was so glad when she climbed down that ladder in Rebels.... and I even knew it was coming! And the end of Rebels is so good. Dave really planted a seed with the "Sabine/Ahsoka searching for Ezra" idea. I have to think that will come back at some point. It's just too perfect. I'd add Hera in there as one of the great female characters as well.

I would not be surprised to see her end up in the Mandalorian. At the end of SW Rebels she takes off with Sabine to search for Ezra who sacrificed himself to rid the area of Thrawn.

In the EU Thrawn returns with a Empire Fleet to disrupt to the newly formed Republic(rebellion) in 9ABY. The Mandalorian currently takes place in 9ABY.

Everything I've seen from LucasFilm and Disney shows a complete refusal to give Ahsoka a promotion to live action. They're content to keep her in animation.

I hope I'm wrong as she's one of the best part of star wars and her story arc when she left the Jedi order during clone wars was great story telling.

My mistake, I thought you meant in the Mandalorian.

As far as Ahsoka, the problem is that Ashley Eckstein did such a good job portraying her that audiences familiar with the character wouldn't accept anyone other than her playing the role.

I cannot agree more. I'd kind of feel bad for Ashley if someone else played Ahsoka. She IS Ahsoka. Plus, Ashley is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

You probably noticed, but during the series finale of Rebels, Ahsoka's face was drawn similar to that of her voice actor.

I've always thought Ahsoka favored some aspects of Ashley and as time went on, I do think she came to look a little more like her. I think they'd have to do some good makeup to get Ashley to look like Ahsoka. The bigger issue would be her height. I think Ashley may not be tall enough to play Ahsoka IRL. I'd be just fine if she never appeared in live-action.

Ahsoka isn't that tall in the series is she? I know Anakin towered over her, but both Ezra and Kanan, who couldn't have been more than 5'6 and 6'0 respectively, were taller than her as well. She didn't exactly tower over Hera, who was barely 5'.

According to Wookieepedia which gets its info from a Star Wars Facts book, Hera was 5-7. I think she and Ahsoka are about the same height, not including Ahsoka's horns. I would put Ahsoka in the 5'7" area before the horns. The same book has Ahsoka's total height at about 6 feet. I am not sure where they get this info, if it's in some Lucasfilm memo somewhere or what. I don't see her height listed on the character sheets.

I hope not. What’s the point of Order 66 if you still have dozens of Jedi running around. The original films gave the appearance that it was only Yoda and Obi-Wan. At this rate, it’s like there were more Jedi post-Order 66 than before.

Not only did she survive Order 66, but she lived through the Galactic Civil War as well.

It can't happen. A live action Ahsoka would overshadow their precious Rey, and prove the dislike of Rey is due to poor storytelling and not toxic masculine fandom.

Yoda was the only one left by ROTJ, but Darth Vader needs some survivors to hunt down and kill during the JedI Purge. Approximately 200 Jedi survived Order 66. That includes some like Ahsoka who had left the Order.
