When I owed a dealer money in the 80's, he tried to get me to fly to San Francisco, pick up a kilo, and drive it back in a rental. He said he's pay for the flight & rental, clear my debt ($700), and give me $1000, if I'd do it. I told him no thanks, but was not honest with him about why I wouldn't do it. I told him, I'd seen the chain saw in Scarface, and had watched too many episodes of Miami Vice. I really was afraid they would have found me like that bear, only in some cheap motel on the way back to Dallas. I'd never bought more than a quarter ounce. There were weekends when I was supposed to be getting it for myself and friends, where I lied to them and said I hadn't hooked up with the guy. No telling what I would have done with a huge amount. I doubt I'd have rated a movie, but an article about it would have made Texas newspapers. It probably happened a few times just that way. I never did anything but snort it. Stopping that was really hard. I can't imagine trying to stop freebasing or injecting it.
You win the thread.

Can you imagine the sight of coming upon that bear moments after he wolfed that stuff down?

Directed by Elizabeth Banks
How the hell does she have a directing career? C-list actress who does exclusively bit parts and now she directs movies?
She did marry a producer so that probably explains it.
Sometimes it's a Weinstein, sometimes it's a Handelman, but if you want a career in Hollywood, you do what needs to be done.

She's been directing for a while (Pitch
Perfect, Charlie's Angels) and she also
owns a production company with her husband.
I have no idea how the Pablo Escobear story could possibly be interesting enough to be made into a full length movie.
