Unlike Nerdrotic, Geeks & Gamers, The Critical Drinker, and a few other negative Nancies in the fandom out there, Chris Gore has a lot of contacts in the industry and he doesn't report something as definitive unless he thinks the information is reliable. So this is what he had to say on his show earlier:
1. Captain America: Brave New World is a bad movie. They've tried multiple different cuts but it's just not landing with audiences so don't expect much from this one.
2. Thunderbolts* is a good movie. Sebastian Stan apparently steals the show and a lot of people are going to be pleasantly surprised by it.
3. Daredevil: Born Again is amazing. It's going to be just as violent as the original Netflix series, if not more so. Chris's insider said he's seen all of the episodes and there's a scene in the series between Daredevil and Kingpin that is very reminiscent of that famous coffee shop scene in the movie Heat.

They have a lot to prove before they deserve the benefit of the doubt

In the case of Daredevil, I think it’s a good sign that they stopped in mid-production, fired the entire creative team, and then re-started from scratch with the main cast from the Netflix show.
Originally, it was supposed to be a reboot of the series. Now it’s more of a continuation of the old series.

So I guess it maybe true.

Yeah a movie that has its release date moved around multiple times, has a ton of rewrites and reshoots, and was being created at the same time as some of their worst stuff ever was released are not good signs.
I’m cautiously optimistic on Thunderbolts. Daredevil should be fine, I don’t think the Netflix people would’ve signed back on if there wasn’t a semblance of what came beforehand.

I'm the biggest Anthony Mackie mark here. I have been championing Captain LSU for years and even I fully expect this movie to be bad. But I also know I am going to pull my hair out when the regulars want to second line over the grave of this movie when it is a bust.
They never should have filmed a second of the movie until they had a script they really liked and everyone was rowing in the same direction. This is another in a long line of projects where it seems like they felt required to release stuff rather than having an organic plan for it.

From proper G4 and before, Chirs knows his stuff. He's how I heard about RRR and he was spot on. Probably would have never seen it if it hadn't been for him.
, wut? Chris and Gary do a weekly show together. He's appeared on FNT with G+G's Jeremy and Ryan. He'll occasionally show up on MauLer's EFAP with Critical Drinker Yes, he's very knowledgeable of Hollywood, has made his own movies, and most certainly is his own man. But on a great many things, he's right on board with trashing the "modern audience" nonsense.
On his own show, his cohost, Alan Ng, is who gave us the D Files, revealing the total WOKE trash that has become Disney and why they are failing so miserably.
Pointing out woke garbabe absolutely does NOT make anyone a 'negative Nancy'. FFS
