Yes. I know it’s a popular take now with Cobra Kai, but I felt this way the first time I watched karate kid.

He thought his “jersey” smartass mentality was endearing for some reason.

epic melt over a movie character

I feel like you don't know the definition of both "epic" and "melt."

quote:

he didn't try; he did. however, according to Alli, Allie was single.

Right, because she was leading him on and using him to make John jealous. At the country club her dad even asks "Trouble with Johnny? You two lovebirds having problems?" So even their parents think they are together.

And she uses him to make John jealous, and it works. And she leads Daniel on enough to get a prom date, only to dump him for a football player immediately afterwards.

Yup. I've felt this way about Daniel for decades. Here's my thread from ten years ago about it.

Holy shite, literally ten years.

My contribution is Iron Man in CA:CW.

Bucky was obviously brainwashed and to continue to try and kill a man that had obviously ran from that lifestyle was painfully stupid.

He watched him kill his parents on film. That doesn't just get forgotten because maybe he didn't know what he was doing.

People always bring up Walt doing bad things and killing people. But these same people think Mike icing people as cool. Mike was just more efficient in putting people down than Walt. Am I suppose to feel bad for him because he had a few scene with his grand daughter? Dude was a dirty cop and who know how many people he killed. I didnt feel bad when died by the river.

Dale from King of the Hill. The show wants you to feel bad that he’s raising another man’s son and for half of the run of the show his wife was getting railed by some other man. And even when that was over you could still tell that his wife was just barely on the margins of being content being married to him But I feel zero sympathy for him

I would have to go with this guy...

Met a tragic end and the film tried to make his stepsister out to be the real villain, but he was a pretty big P.O.S. that did some pretty awful things that tend to find a way to eventually catch up to you.

Corrine Mackey did some stupid shite working with the cops to take down Vic.

I mean, what choice did she have? Imagine having 3 kids (with 2 being autistic) and finding out your cop husband murdered a fellow cop in cold blood and also put you and your kids in danger after ripping off crazy arse Armenian mobsters.

Elsa from Frozen

That's because she was supposed to be the villain. Elsa was the villain in the original script. In fact, they didn't rewrite the movie until well after most of it had been animated and even voice-acted. It wasn't until the director heard Elsa's "villain song" "Let it Go" that they decided to rewrite the script so that she wasn't a villain. They decided that song was too good for a bad guy, so they completely rewrote the movie on the fly to accommodate that change.

The woman, Sarah Wheeler, from Pale Rider.

Okay, so maybe she didn’t love the gold panner, Hull. Maybe he wasn’t handsome enough, or exciting enough, but she sure didn’t mind him providing for her and her fatherless daughter, with hardly a thank you.

Wow Really?

The Disney Villain songs are usually some of the best.

Spot on, but I think part of the intrigue of her character was how hypocritical she was. I mean, she was a mob wife in every sense of the word, but wanted to be viewed with the respect of a nun for "putting up with Tony's way".

She was shallow, self-centered, and supportive of everything Tony did unless it embarrassed her.

I think we're supposed to feel bad for Sam Jackson in Changing Lanes because all this misfortune happens upon him and this yuppie white lawyer blows him off...

But Jackson is a total dick in that movie. I mean nothing that started the altercation justifies what he does...then he just becomes pissed off at the world guy.

Ultimately you start feeling sorry for Affleck and his job predicament and Jackson becomes the villain.

In the end I guess they're both the bad guys. Strange movie, no one really to root for.
