This makes a lot of sense in theory, but with the way the producers have chosen the elimination jungles this year, I just don't see it.

The only eliminations that particularly favor anyone in an egregious way are the Oklahoma Drill and maybe the lock-breaking one. Basketball treadmill and the rope-cutting one just reward general stamina and coordination, as all eliminations should, and Snapper is just super arbitrary.

I mean, Landon and Alton could lose to Danny and Tyrie in that game. Anything can happen Yet they used Snapper only against two teams that are evenly matched (two of the weakest men's teams and two above average women's teams).

And the Oklahoma Drill and Lock-Breaking were both used against comparable teams as well.

Maybe it's because there's been no need to manipulate results since the big names just aren't getting thrown into the Jungle like CT, Johnny, Frank, and Wes, but I think they've been pretty clean with only 2 eliminations to go.

Besides, on the female side, who do the producers even care about? None of those chicks push ratings.

Now if next week's Jungle is CT boxing against Jordan or a contest to see who can take more Valium between Knight and anyone else, feel free to ignore this post.
