Shorter thread would be to ask which of the 30 for 30's people didn't like.

This is true for me. 30 for 30's were really solid quality across the board.

If I had to pick the top for me:

Once Brothers
The Two Escobars
The Best That Never Was

Chasing Tyson

Unguarded with Chris Herren was my favorite. Dude turned his life around after some awful struggles. The doc was well done.

Hillsborough is rough. It’s the story of the soccer fans that died in the stadium by being crushed.

So many bad decisions led to the tragedy.

That and the one about the night of 2Pac's murder were sort of meh for me. They weren't bad, but nowhere near as interesting as the other films.

I don't remember that one. Why did ESPN do a piece of Tupac?

He was shot leaving the MGM after a Tyson fight. It compared Tyson and 2Pac. It was fairly forgettable, and that's from someone who likes to watch stuff about Tyson and Pac.

Article about the episode

The Best That Never Was is one of my favorite documentaries of all time. Something got in my eye watching that one. Always liked Barry Switzer a little bit, but that made me hate him like im supposed to.

It’s ok to admit you cried watching an emotional story, dude. It’s 2019.

It was an incredible look into a near-mythological-level football player...that no one has ever heard of. Incredibly moving and sad to see how that guy’s story played out.

Yea, I joke but I am a crier.

Hard to see someone that talented have that many bad things happen, have so much bad advice and see an agent screw him over like he did. Especially someone that was poor.

One nice thing was he seemed to have no resentment or many regrets. Pretty awesome on his part to be happy being a truck driver when you know you could have been special.

The Two Escobars and Pony Express were probably my two other favorites. They have had a dip in quality overall of late.
