Or bc they were given powers by an infinity stone. Infinity stones at least are cannon in the MCU already.

Though I would find it hilarious if MCU steals "metahumans" to describe superheroes from DC

Captain Marvel was announced back in 2014 before Fox was even for sale. It’s been in production since early 2017 before Disney won the bid.

The first two things he claims are fiction could both be facts.
This movie did have a huge drop percentage from Sunday to Monday. But of course that means nothing without seeing the average drop for blockbuster releases. He shows that it was roughly middle of the pack for the MCU, so I'd assume it's close to industry average.
For the $750mil breakeven, he says it's fiction even though he said he doesn't know and says it could be that much at least twice.
This guy is splitting hairs to make an argument. Sounds familiar
