You can't judge it by grainy still photos IMO. Have to wait for the finished product.

I'm sure this is some stunt suit that may have some things added in post production.
In all likelihood there is a better looking suit for other shots.

We've seen before that suits look better in the film....and Marvel has yet to miss on any of their costume designs. Some may not like their choices (i.e. Ultimate Hawkeye vs. 616 Hawkeye) but they've knocked out the costumes.
With that in mind this looks great.

This doesn't look great but we're in favor of the film so we're going to say that it looks great with the consideration that they have to make it look better than that.

I don't think it looks "bad". I think it is a little more conventional and plain than I was expecting, but it'll do fine.

It's the plainest of all superhero costumes. Kirby created him as dressed in one tone of black from head to toe with black patterned gloves and boots. They've added articles of flair to dress it up, but he's basically your basic black ninja.
I hope that they keep him as plain as possible.

I think you guys want to like it a little too much.
It looks like a Halloween costume.
I'm not saying that's the final product. It's probably a stunt suit like said earlier. But if it's not, then it's awful for a superhero these days, TV budgets are making way better suits than that

I mean, I don't WANT to like it. I don't particularly have a real heavy opinion on it. The material they made it out of was a bad choice I think. Other than that, it just looks like a suit. And we can't see the face really well. That's where Black Panther has the most impact. I mean, it is what it is. We haven't seen everything yet.

I hate this word for superheros. They consider it a uniform. Do members of the green lantern corps consider what they wear a "costume" like they're going to a Halloween party or is it a recognizable uniform for galactic peacekeeping? They think of it as a uniform.
Btw, that black panther suit looks like the Arkham Knight.

The point of a costume is to conceal appearance. Not really the case with a uniform
